In high school, I would always be in the gym; on the basketball court. it was like my sancuary. Whenever I felt bad or was in a bad mood I'd go to the court and start shooting around. Basketball was one of the many things I loved and enjoyed. It was like sports was all around me, it was and still is a part of my life. You have to have a passion for something in life I believe that basketball was that for me. I also spend time writing for the school newspaper, writing about our sports teams and going to almost every sporting event. I knew what I wanted to become when I was attending high school so I helped my cause by writing for the newspaper. Nothing like getting a headstart. I thought that high school was going to be the best time of life and it was but in college it seems so much better. I still visit my high school alot; whenever i'm home. Going to basketball games. The high school changed alot though, new renovations. Brand new basketball court, library, cafeteria, it's like they are destroying everything that I had as a student there. Now I walk in and and thinkhave I been here before. You're on your own and you don't need to live with your parents anymore. It's what freedom feels like.
